Project Wild!!!!!!!!

Today,we had Project Wild.That is where you get to learn about animals and environments.We have learned about elephants,spiders and we just learned about deserts! They are so cool!Deserts have tons of animals and plants living in them including:
~cacti/cactus
~reptiles/amphibians
~insects/spiders
~birds
~tons of mammals!
When Mrs.Lauth got here,she gave us paper and she listed names of some of the cactuses.Some of the names were:Strawberry Cactus,Ice Plant,Teddy Bear Cholla(hee,hee),Pincushion Cactus(ha,ha),and the Old Man Cactus(HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!). We were supposed to draw out what we thought the cactus looked like.Afterwards,we looked at pictures of what the cacti actually looked like and Mrs.Lauth gave us another assignment.We had to go back with our table groups and write down what kind of animals lived in the desert(not Cactuses!).My table group(Alex and Raechel) had so many ideas.We had a lot of animals and as it turns out,we had listed the most animals!Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Since we won,we each got to choose a bookmark.Mine had a panda bear(SO CUTE!!!!!),Raechel's had a turtle(She loves turtles)and Alex had a dog(I don't know why he chose that).
Next we went to lunch.After lunch we saw a video about deserts.It talked about the animals,the land,the people and so much more!!!!I loved it!!!When we got back to the classroom,we made a wheel that showed some of the animals that came out in the day and some animals that came out at night.
I love Project Wild.I wonder what we will learn about next!!!!
