Softball Rocks!

This year I am doing softball. My team is the Highlands Ranch Hyenas. There are some girls who played softball last year with the same coach and there are some girls who have just started. I am one of the girls who has just started.
So far, I am doing really good. My batting stance is good, my catching is good and my throwing is good. My favorite position is shortstop. If you don't know where shortstop is, I'll tell you. It is right in between 2nd base and 3rd base. A lot of the action happens around there.
I have two coaches: Coach Stacie and Coach Trish. They are both moms for two of the kids on the team. The coaches are really encouraging and helpful. They've helped me notice the things I'm good at and the things I'm bad at. Then the help me fix the bad things and get even better at the good things.
Tonight I have practice at 7:15 and it goes to 8:15. It takes us a little bit to get there because we live in Parker and practice is at Highlands Ranch. We also have a game tomorrow against the Astros. It is our 2nd game. Our first game was against the Super Sluggers. I can't wait until 6:30 because that is when we are leaving to head down to practice. After the game I'll do another post if I have any time. And remember--Softball Rocks!!!!!!!
