My First Book Response

This is my first book response.It is about A Series of Unfortunate Events,book 1. After the main character's(Violet,age 14,Klaus,age 12,and Sunny,a baby who's four teeth can really bite.)parents die in the fire of their house,everything goes downhill.According to their parents will, they must live with their closest relative who at the moment is a man named Count Olaf(Who is either a third cousin four times removed or a fourth cousin three times removed.)who wants their fortune.
He makes them share one room with one bed and makes them do the hardest of chores(like cooking a meal for 10 adults and chopping firewood and painting the porch.).
What could they do? Their only friend was Olaf's neighbor,Justice Strauss.But she couldn't help them.All she did for them was let them borrow books.
After Violet, Klaus, and Sunny thought they would live with Count Olaf for the rest of their life, he started acting nicer.He made them oatmeal with raspberries and told them they would be in his play(I forgot to tell you he was a actor!).It was called The Marvelous Marriage.Klaus and Sunny would play midgets and Violet would be the bride.
Was he just acting nicer? Or was he planning something? Klaus grabbed a book from Justice Strauss' house.This was their only chance.Klaus read all night long. And when when it was morning,he went down to the kitchen. After Count Olaf came down,Klaus explained what Count Olaf Was doing.He was actually going to marry Violet! Then he would be able to take her fortune!
But Count Olaf had a surprise too. he had locked sunny up in the highest tower,which was 30 feet up!And if anything they did messed up the play, he would radio his guard and his guard would drop Sunny down the tower.There was nothing they could do to stop him. There fortune would be gone.
Soon enough, the day of the play came.They had gotten into their costumes and had on their make-up.Scene 1 and scene 2 had finished.Time for scene 3.They were in a jam.Any wrong move and Sunny would fall 30 feet down.So they had to do the play.There was nothing they could do--Or could they?
As soon as scene 3 began,Violet was sweating.Justice Strauss was talking,Count Olaf was grinning and soon it was time for the "I do's". Violet had to say "I do".And of course Count Olaf said "I do".Justice handed the declaration of marriage paper to Olaf and he signed it.Violet's left hand was shaking as she signed.But she did.
Olaf radioed his guard."All went well.Bring the orphan to the theater."
"Attention,everybody!"Count Olaf announced to the audience."I have just officially married Violet Baudelaire."
"What?!?!!?That's impossible!!!!!"shouted Justice Strauss.
"No,it's true."Violet told Justice.
"But how could it--I can't believe--"
"How easy you are to trick?"Olaf finished."It was almost too easy."
"Actually,"came a voice from a group of actors and actresses,"Violet isn't your wife." It was Klaus speaking."She had signed with her left hand, not her right hand.So,she isn't married to you."
"What?"Olaf shouted.He grabbed his radio,but it was to late.Sunny and the guard had just walked into the theater.Everybody ran to Sunny and was asking her if she was okay.Suddenly,the lights all went out."Huh?", "What just happened?", 'Where are you?",and "Who am I touching?" were the loudest of the questions people asked.
Violet walked over to the place where she remembered the lights were.And just before she flipped the switch,she hear something in her ear."I'll get the fortune if it's the last thing I do.And when I do,I'll get rid of you orphans once and for all."
When Violet turned the lights back on, no one was standing next to her.But she knew it had been Count Olaf.

NEW!!!!!!!!!!!! NEW!!!!!!!!!!! NEW!!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys!I have lots of new news and I want to share it with you!
Spelling Bee News:I did not win the spelling bee. I stayed in for 2 rounds, but I got out on round 3. It was the word "recommend". I spelled it"reccomend".But guess what?Some of my friends got 1st and 2nd place! There names are Bella and Isaac(just to let you know, Bella got 1st and Isaac got 2nd.)Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now, I am going to be writing responses about the books I have read lately. Most of the books I read at home are chapter books, but I might write a few responses about picture books. I hope you'll like them!!!

Happy 2011!!!!!!!!

I am so excited about 2011! I know it's going to be so much fun!I have some good news already. I am going to be in the final spelling bee on Wednesday. I have practiced a lot(I'm still practicing!)and I think I'm going to do really good.Wish me luck!

Student Council is great! I've had a few meetings already and they're so much fun!I even have another meeting on Thursday and I can't wait!

New news

Sorry I haven't been here on a while. I've just been busy since I started 4th grade!!! I promise I'll write on here more often.

Well, I do have some great news. The first one I already told you about. I started 4th grade!!! And guess what? I have the same teacher from last year because our 4th grade teacher moved to C track. So Mr.Allen is our new 4th grade teacher and Mr. Rushmore is our new 3rd grade teacher. Then, we got a new 2nd grade teacher. Her name is Mrs. Morton. So now, I get the same teacher I had for 3rd grade.
Some of the other news I have is that I am one of the kids in my class that made it to Student Council. I made it and so did Jordan J. It's so awesome! My first meeting is on November 11th.
Also, I am one of the seven kids that passed the spelling bee test. If you pass that test, you move on to the oral test. And if you past the oral test, you get to go to the actual spelling bee. I hope I can go to the actual spelling bee.
The last bit of awesome news is that today is Halloween(I bet you already knew that though!)! I am going to be a bumblebee this year. I can't wait to start bringing in the candy! And again, I promise I will write on here more often.

Thanksgiving at Louisiana

On Saturday the twenty-first we are going to drive to Louisiana for a week. It will be so much fun! We will play games and ride around on our bikes. And we will be there for Thanksgiving , too. We are gonna visit my Nannaw and Pappaw and Sissy.

I`m going to ask everyone what they want to do at Louisiana.

Snow!Sledding!Hot choclate!

We went sledding a few days ago.Andy went on the tube only a couple times.Emily and I went done a lot more. When we got home we had hot choclate and chicken noodle soup. I had tons of fun!!!!!
